Common use

Tastylia OD Strip (tadalafil) is used in the treatment of men with erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia. Tastylia OD Strip exerts action through the smooth muscle relaxation in the penis and allows the erection due to the filling up of the blood in the corpus cavernosum. This helps in erectile dysfunction.

Dosage and direction

The recommended dose of Tastylia OD Strip it should be taken at least 30 minutes before the sexual activity. The effect persists during 36 hours. Take Tastylia OD Strip once daily and do not exceed the recommended dose.

Precautions

Tastylia OD Strip can lead to dizziness. Hence, it's advisable to operate vehicles or machinery only when fully alert.
Caution is advised in sickle cell anemia, severe liver and kidney problems, multiple myeloma, leukemia and deformation of the penis.
Alcohol consumption should be avoided while taking Tastylia OD Strip as it may worsen the side effects. Also grapefruit juice should not be taken with this medication as it may affect the functioning of this medication.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to tadalafil. It is also contraindicated in patients with certain cardiovascular conditions, when sexual activity is not advised, and patients having non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy and pulmonary hypertension.
Tastylia OD Strip is not intended for use by women and children.

Possible side effect

Side effects of Tastylia OD Strip: Headache; Indigestion; Back pain; Muscle aches; Flushes; Stuffy and runny nose.

Drug interaction

Avoid taking medications for angina (nitrates), antibiotics (erythromycin), anticonvulsants (phenytoin), antifungals (ketoconazole) and medications for pulmonary hypertension (riociguat). These medications may alter the safety and effectiveness of tadalafil.

Missed dose

If you miss a dose of Tastylia OD Strip, take it as soon as you remember. But, if the next dose is near, skip the missed dose and resume the regular dosing regime.

Overdose

Overdose of Tastylia OD Strip is capable of vision loss, changes in vision colour, blurred vision, ringing in ears, an erection that lasts longer. These symptoms need to be managed as an emergency in a hospital setting. Therefore, strict adherence to the prescribed dose is essential.

Storage

Store at room temperature away from moisture, sunlight, kids and pets in a tight container.
